Floor Plan

Third Floor

25. Third Floor Balcony Hallway Room Type: Private, open to House Officers and Guests only, internal corridor

3 entrances/exits: Third Floor Stairway 1 - entry to/from (stair direction down) Second Floor Hallway on Second Level located center from within Third Floor Balcony Hallway itself (usage within Room Desc - polished murrey stairway), West Pane of Double Doors 2 - entry to/from Chairman's Suite located west from within Third Floor Balcony Hallway itself (usage within Room Desc - west pane), East Pane of Double Doors 3 - entry to/from Co-Chairman's Suite located east from within Third Floor Balcony Hallway itself (usage within Room Desc - east pane).

Room Desc: This elegant hallway is actually both internal corridor and external balcony. The purple-red color of murrey wood, in the parquet floor, wall panels and the sconces on the north wall, give it a unique character. A traceried balcony on the south side provides a clear view beyond its murrey wood railing of the busy courtyard below. To the north a very steep and wide polished murrey wood stairway with a vultite threaded rope handrail provides access on and off the floor. A set of double doors of scented lilac wood are split so that the west pane and east pane each give entry to a separate suite on the floor. Obvious exits: none.

Touchable Objects: Railing, murrey wood; Handrail, vultite threaded rope.

(SPECIAL NOTE: The stairway should be scripted to require those of the dwarf and halfling races to use the handrail in order to climb the stairs, stumbling and falling in the failure to negotiate the steep ascent/descent if they don't hold the handrail.)

26. Iscikella's (Chairman's) Suite: Room Type: Private, open to Chairman/Co-Chairman and Guests only, internal room

2 entrances/exits: West Pane of Double Doors 2 - entry to/from Third Floor Balcony Hallway located southeast from within Chairman's Suite itself (usage within Room Desc - west pane), Adjoining Suite Archway 4 - entry to/from Co-Chairman Suite (suites adjoin openly) located east from within Chairman's Suite itself (usage within Room Desc - silver-stamped archway).

Room Desc: This airy suite is an ideal of refinement. The floor - alternating panels of lilac wood and amaranthine glaes - is etched in silver with tiny images of half-open scrolls. The walls are unbelievably beautiful, alternating blocks of wavy lilac glaes and smooth glaes in the same hue bearing an inlay of an amaranth. A large divan bed, its plicate frame of lilac wood with amaranthine glaes appointments, provides the central focus, while a cunningly conceived vanity, composed entirely of violet glaes, embodies the essence of luxury. Also seen - the west pane of a set of double doors and a silver-stamped archway. Obvious exits: none.

Exam Desc: Divan Bed: The plicate framework of this bed is striking, insets of amaranthine glaes decorating the fan design of the lilac wood, while the lilac satin coverlets and many pillows make the bed itself look unbearably inviting. Vanity: The swirled and sculpted glaes-work of this vanity is truly breathtaking. And the bottles and trays upon its surface, all of varied-colored glaes and each etched in silver script letters with the name ISCIKELLA, stun the eye. Archway: Softly scented lilac wood forms the basis of this tasteful archway, which connects the two suites on this floor. The wood on this side of the archway is stamped in silver with tiny images of half-open scrolls, while on the opposite side silver-stamped images of five-conjoined circles abound.

Touchable Objects: Divan Bed, lilac wood/amaranthine glaes; Vanity, glaes, violet; Archway, lilac wood, silver-stamped.

(SPECIAL NOTE: Chairman/Co-Chairman are both to have full/equal access to this chamber with West Pane only latchable from inside. Vanity should be scripted to arrange/rearrange bottles and trays on its surface.

27. Blizzerdd's (Co-Chairman's) Suite: Room Type: Private, open to Chairman/Co-Chairman and Guests only, internal room

2 entrances/exits: East Pane of Double Doors 3 - entry to/from Third Floor Balcony Hallway located southwest from within Co-Chairman's Suite itself (usage within Room Desc - east pane), Adjoining Suite Archway 4 - entry to/from Co-Chairman Suite (suites adjoin openly) located west from within Co-Chairman's Suite itself (usage within Room Desc - silver-stamped archway).

Room Desc: The walls of this sumptuous suite boast lilac wood paneling intricately chiseled with silver-stamped likenesses of animals and herbs. Dramatically cut by the bed of a stream, the floor alternates between lilac wood and silver-etched amaranthine glaes blocks. Posts of a tester bed raise a canopy almost ceiling level. Conspicuously mounted on the back wall is a display case containing a gleaming silver sword, and a remarkably detailed dresser, carved in the shape of an attacking puma, actually startles you upon first glance. Also seen - the east pane of a set of double doors and a silver-stamped archway. Obvious exits: none.

Exam Desc: Tester Bed: The enormous bedstead of deeply chiseled lilac wood bears markings resembling the herbs found in the lands. The canopy of amaranthine and silver satin brocade, cleverly weaves a series of five-conjoined circles into its design. Oddly, a strip of fine grey leather dangles from each of the four posts. Puma-shaped Dresser: The lilac wood of this masterfully carved dresser is inset with tiny flecks of silver, giving the fantasy creature it depicts a shimmering and magical quality. Gleaming Silver Sword: This sword, though still a magnificent weapon, shows signs of much use. Etched into the blade is the name BLIZZERDD, and a plaque at the very bottom of the case in which it rests proclaims this sword: The first fighting instrument of Blizzerdd Iceknives. Stream: Embedded in some magical way into the very floor, this little babbling brook surprises. Marine life abounds in it, despite its odd indoor location, almost as if the owner of this room possessed so deep a connection with nature as to make the fish and frogs and such thrive through sheer empathy.

Touchable Objects: Tester Bed, lilac wood; Puma-shaped Dresser, lilac wood; Gleaming Silver Sword, silver.

(SPECIAL NOTE: Chairman/Co-Chairman are both to have full/equal access to this chamber with East Pane only latchable from inside. Leather strips on bedposts should be scripted to tie/untie about objects/persons.)
